Host an Event
We have a curated room in the back of the shop with good light, a long table, and space for up to people. We built this space for gathering, learning something with your hands, meeting the people who make things, or spending an afternoon with your neighbors.
If you have something to teach, something to sell, or something to celebrate, we'd love to host you.

Ways to Host
Workshops
25% of each ticket
You teach, we handle the rest. Set your own ticket price and we'll list your workshop on our website, sell the tickets and take care of check-in. We keep 25% of each ticket to cover the space. The other 75% is yours.
Pop-Ups
Hourly, custom quote
Bring your goods and set up shop for an afternoon or an evening. Pop-ups are booked by the hour. Tell us a little about what you have in mind and we'll send you a quote.
Other Gatherings
Custom quote
Book clubs, meet-ups, small showers, launch parties, tastings. If it fits in the room and suits the shop, ask us. We'll work out the details together.
How workshops work
- Tell us about it. Fill out the form below with your idea, a few dates that work and your ticket price.
- We'll confirm the details. Once your date is set, we'll list your workshop on our events calendar.
- Guests buy tickets through us. Everything runs through our website, so you don't need to manage payments or a guest list.
- Show up and teach. The room is yours for the class. You keep 75% of every ticket sold.
Coffee, Drinks & Something Sweet
Any workshop, pop-up or event in our space can add coffee, beverages, baked goods and snacks from us, at a discounted host rate. It's an easy way to make guests feel welcome, and you don't have to haul anything in.
Please note: All food and drink orders for your event are due 14 days before your event date. We'll send you our catering order form once your date is confirmed.

Apothecary 101
We're opening the back room with a class of our own. Join the owners of Granville General for an introduction to the everyday apothecary: the herbs, oils and simple ingredients we reach for at home, and how to put them to use. You'll go home with a few things you made yourself.
