A greeting card featuring a vintage botanical watercolor, printed on wildflower seed paper you can plant after reading.
Made from: Wildflower watercolors by naturalist Mary Vaux Walcott (1860-1940), carefully digitized by Marissa Kay Co. and printed on handmade seed paper from rural craftswomen in Nepal, made from the Daphne bush with 50% recycled content. Every card holds the same non-invasive wildflower blend: daisy, maiden pink, dwarf petunia, hairy beardtongue, Moroccan toadflax, red corn poppy, sweet William catchfly, wild thyme and Roman chamomile.
Why we love it: A card that goes from the mailbox to the garden bed, and feeds the bees once it blooms.
Size: One card, 4.5 x 5.75 in., blank inside, with a recycled kraft paper envelope.
Care: To plant, tear the card into small pieces, press into 1/8 inch of soil and keep moist. It needs about 4 hours of direct sun a day and sprouts in 1-6 weeks.
