When you buy meat at Granville General, you can know exactly where it came from. Our freezer and shelves are stocked by Ohio farms and small makers, and we're glad to tell you about every one of them.
MaKyn Farms: American Wagyu beef
MaKyn Farms raises American Wagyu, and we carry it in the freezer by the cut: filet, ribeye, strip and sirloin steaks; brisket, tri-tip and chuck roasts; and everyday ground beef, patties and hot dogs. They also make Wagyu bone broth and a Wagyu tallow cream, and they grow the microgreens in our cooler.
Homestead 41: pork and lamb
From Homestead 41 we carry pork by the pound, including boneless chops, Italian sausage and brats, plus pork chops, maple sausage links and chorizo. Lamb comes as shanks, racks and ground lamb. Homestead 41 also makes many of the organic pantry kits, grits and pancake mixes on our shelves.
Foris Extraordinary Meats: salami from Pickerington
Foris makes cured salami and chorizo in Pickerington, Ohio. Look for Salami No. 1, Tripel Pigs and the Rojizo chorizo.
Na*Kyrsie Meats: cured meats from Geneva
Na*Kyrsie Meats in Geneva, Ohio makes soppressata and Toscano salami, beef and pork pepperoni, and nitrate-free beef snack sticks. Their Toscano is made with no nitrite or celery powder, in a natural beef casing. Everything they make is shelf stable, so it's easy to keep on hand for a board.
Cheese to go with it
Tri-State Cheese brings us cheese blocks, smoked blocks and fresh cheese curds, and Black Radish Creamery makes cheddar curds and cheese sold by weight.
